God Speed John Glenn
50 Years ago today John Glenn blasted off and sent American boys dreaming of venturing into space along with him. Who didn't want to be an astronaut? More importantly Glenn in his tiny capsule gave all Americans something to come together about. John Glenn understood the significance of his accomplishment and what it meant to all Americans young and old alike. At 90 years old he remain a hero to me still. Godspeed John Glenn!
